Obesity
Obesity is a medical condition characterized by excessive body fat that poses a risk to health. It is typically defined by a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or higher. BMI is a measure of body weight relative to height and is used to categorize weight status. Obesity can lead to serious health complications, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and certain cancers.
Type 2 diabetes
Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition that affects how the body processes blood sugar (glucose). In type 2 diabetes, the body either becomes resistant to insulin or doesn't produce enough insulin, leading to elevated blood sugar levels. Over time, this can result in serious complications such as heart disease, nerve damage, kidney disease, and vision problems.
Hypertension
Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a condition where the force of the blood against the walls of the arteries is consistently too high. Over time, high blood pressure can lead to serious health issues like heart disease, stroke, kidney damage, and vision problems. Hypertension is often classified into two types:

1. Primary (essential) hypertension: The most common form, with no identifiable cause, often related to genetics, age, diet, lifestyle, and stress.
2. Secondary hypertension: Caused by an underlying condition, such as kidney disease, hormonal disorders, or certain medications.
Respiratory Disorders
Respiratory disorders are conditions that affect the lungs and the ability to breathe. These disorders can severely impact overall health and quality of life, as the respiratory system is essential for oxygenating the blood and removing carbon dioxide from the body. When this system is compromised, it can lead to symptoms like shortness of breath, persistent coughing, chest discomfort, and fatigue.
Gastrointestinal Disorders
Gastrointestinal (GI) disorders refer to a wide range of conditions affecting the digestive system, including the stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas. These disorders can disrupt the body's ability to digest food, absorb nutrients, and eliminate waste, leading to discomfort and serious health complications. Common symptoms include abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and heartburn.
Mental Disorders
Mental disorders, also known as mental health conditions, encompass a broad range of psychological and emotional disturbances that affect an individual’s thoughts, feelings, behavior, and overall functioning. These conditions can vary in severity and duration, impacting people of all ages and backgrounds. Common symptoms include persistent sadness, anxiety, mood swings, confusion, difficulty concentrating, and withdrawal from social interactions.
